(install print cartridges) How do I get this window off my screen, I only have black cartridge in printer.?

I ran out of colored ink, and when I tried to print,this window came up and It has no way of closing it ,Help and Thank You(install print cartridges) How do I get this window off my screen, I only have black cartridge in printer.?
In your printer settings (go to control panel%26gt;printers and faxes%26gt;right click and press printing preferances) you should ahve an option that says ';use black cartrige only'; or ';print in black and white';. Click the checkbox, and it should work.(install print cartridges) How do I get this window off my screen, I only have black cartridge in printer.?
If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

Some printers, and mine is one of them, will not print if any cartridge is out of ink.





You may be able to get around this if, when you File, Print, and get the print window, click Properties. Sometimes you have to look for ';advanced.'; You can set your printer to print in black, only.
