Is it normal that Epson stylus C90 printer black cartridge can print only 10 pages?

Epson has listed:


Duty Cycle : 1240 Pages


So this means that there is definitely something wrong with the ink cartridge and printer, either it is leaking or it was not packaged correctly and dried up. Even if you printed ALL black on 10 pages, you'd still have a lot of ink left, if I were you I'd buy another black and test if it works good otherwise if you are still under warranty contact Epson.
