You need to input the values into the printer. This can be done on the printer, or through Windows.

go to start go to control panel go to printers click on your printer and then right click and go to properties or printer setting and go to tools and then you should see clean head aling heads test page.
or if you have a printer icon on your task bar click on that and go to tools and yo see align head there. good luck
it might help to read the instruction book- most printers will automatically align a cartridge when it is installed. my lexmark printer does
