How many 4x6 inch photos would an average ink cartridge print?

the printer i have is a canon pixma mp480





and i use it to print documents as well as photos..

if you use the regular settings for printing, you should get about 450 pages, which would be two 4X6 on each page but if you use the ';best photo'; setting you will lessen the amount. Also if the documents are just text, use the ';Use black ink only'; option and should save you colors longer. Hope this helps!
