How would I put a print cartridge into an Lexmark printer?

My ink to my printer is running low and I just brought a new ink cartridge, but now I'm having difficulites putting it in the printer.How would I put a print cartridge into an Lexmark printer?
I have a Lexmark x 63, you just open the compartment the ink cartridges are in, when you do, gently pull the old one out, and replace the new one, it must Snap into place- the printer then asks you to close the compartment, and what ink you have changed. Hopefully this helps, other wise, consult your manual that came with the printer.

get the new inks, then after power your printer ON, you open the upper cover the two ink catridge will roll out , then u can remove the power and then remove the two inks and exchange them
first switch on the printer then let the printer intialize then open the cover of printer,the cartradge unit will come in middle side then check where the colour cartradge is placed open its flap upward pull out emty cartradge replace new one close the cover take a print thats it
