I bought an out of date inkjet print cartridge for my printer. Can I still use it or will it harm my printer?

I have an HP All-In-One printer and bought a cartridge that has install by APR 2008. Not sure if I should use it, do not want to harm my printer. Any help gratefully accepted thank you.I bought an out of date inkjet print cartridge for my printer. Can I still use it or will it harm my printer?

you can probably, the ink is still good so it should print find if it doesn't buy now ink for your printer.
