I have a lexmarkX1185 that won't print. It tells me that I have a cartridge missing, but I have both.?

on the cartridge and on the printer, there are some connection, usually colored copper. If they are dirty, your printer may not be able to 'see' the cartridges.





Take the cartridge out. clean both sets of contacts with a soft cloth and a bit of alcohol. Otherwise, 90% chance you have a faulty cartridge.
