my printer is only printing in color which is giving all my prints a yellow tint. i just replaced the cartridges for the second time. should i kick this printer to the curb and bring in the old one(which works fine). or is there something in the settings menu.Printer does not print with new black ink cartridge?
Make sure there is nothing covering the jets on the cartridge. Also how long has it been laying around? it might have dried out, and/or expired. On new printers the cartridges have expirations and it will not use them after a certain amount of time. Also try a printer self cleaning and see if that does anything. If none of that works, it might be the printer.Printer does not print with new black ink cartridge?
Have you taken the tape off of the cartridge?
also open the printers maintenance app and clean your heads.
