My printer doesn't print when 1 of the cartridge is empty?

ok, It's a Brother DCP 115 C.. When 1 of the cartridge is empty it doesn't print. So can i do any changes to settings so it can print with the available colors? My printer doesn't print when 1 of the cartridge is empty?
No you cannot, CYMK colour shading and mixing is very complicated, you do need all your colours present.

All newer model printers use a light black ink to allow for photo printing. The trade off is that this ink isn't dark enough to create a crisp text print. Your printer will be using all three colours to darken and sharpen your black.

To answer your question, there is no way to trick the printer into working with an empty cartridge, nor is there any way to override that empty cartridge warning short of replacing the empty cartridge. My printer doesn't print when 1 of the cartridge is empty?
Go to Control Panel: Printers: Right click on the picture of the printer you are using: choose: Properties: Printing Preferences: Paper/Quality: Select: Color:Choose which one you want to use: Black %26amp; White or Color: choose ok
